Without a doubt, the final episode of Season 3 of The Boys delivered the biggest and best battle sequence the series has ever done – and that’s really saying something after their epic tag team match during the episode “Herogasm”…that’s been said, [The Finale] A major flaw in The Boys Season 3: confirmed the lack of any real major plot progression. This season was all about character development… It was great that the actors could show more acting muscle (which they did really well), but it also felt somewhat underwhelming, narratively… The boys still play it to Pretty safe in terms of keeping the core cast – a game that gets boring after a while
